As Nairobi’s first commercial radio station, 98.4 Capital FM have always been a pioneer. Originally equipped by Clyde in 1995 the station covers Nairobi, Mombassa and Western Kenya from six transmitter locations.
Seventeen years later, Clyde Broadcast went back to work with Capital FM to upgrade their facilities from analog to digital.
A new server based work-flow was created with the station implementing the Clyde ARCS routing system for flexibility and future proofing.
Cyrus Kamau, Managing Director commented “Clyde equipped our station when we first went on air, in 1995. The equipment has been incredibly reliable and we have been very pleased with the support. I would have no hesitation in recommending Clyde to anyone – they are totally professional and a pleasure to work with”.
