To celebrate, the Fife media broadcasters approached Clyde to equip their new premises in Kirkcaldy with the latest in digital radio technology, in order to grow and develop new revenue streams. “This is the start of a new era for Kingdom FM, and the entire staff are excited about what lies ahead. The result will be an even better service for our listeners and advertisers,” said Kingdom FM’s Managing Director Blair Crofts.
Kingdom now have plans to introduce their very own radio academy using their stunning new facilities which are 50% bigger than before. This also gives them the potential to expand into video production and have marketing and communications bases which could be used to support local businesses.
“Clyde always enjoy the responsibility of upgrading the studios of such a well-known and celebrated commercial station. There is a lot of excitement around the place knowing their listeners will be treated to the highest quality sound,” added Project Manager Geoff Archbold.
At least a third of the population of Fife – one of Scotland’s largest regions – make up Kingdom FM’s regular audience. Mr Crofts also took this time to add some very kind words about Clyde Broadcast.
“The setting up of new studios with the latest sound technology was a complex task, and the contractors really came through to complete the job weeks ahead of schedule. We are very grateful”
